Around 1980, in the afternoon, a man and a woman, Muslims, by bicycle, were returning from the village of Gorenci to Ohrid. As they approached the monastery “Saint Erasmus”, they heard female singing in a choir, pronouncing the name of the woman on the bike. And not once, but several times.
The singing came from the monastery water tap under the new road. When they heard it, the two spouses stopped, thinking that there are some women working in their fields or they probably misheard their names.
But when they reached the water tap, neither song was heard, nor women worked.
This incident for the spouses was shocking. Considering where it happened, they kept it secret until now.
