On February 5, 2015, Mr. Ljupco Kitanoski, from Ohrid, told us the following.
– I did not have children for twenty years. As a worker on the road, I worked on the maintenance of the two roads near “St. Erasmus”. I practically was in the immediate proximity of “St. Erasmus” monastery. Whenever I looked at it, when I walked or stand beside it, my tears come in, I was experiencing various burdens. Often something kept me longer at “St. Erasmus” I cannot be separated from the holy place.
I saw St. Erasmus in a dream coming out of the grave and saying:
“I will help you. You are a good man. “
Some time afterward, in a dream, I walked on a mountain road. When, along the way, an angel came out. In the dream, I told him:
“I am waiting for you for years and years, my golden angel” and I began to sing: “Alleluia, alleluia …”
After 16 years of marriage, I submitted documents to the authority organ for the adoption of a child, wanting to be a girl. But my request cannot be fulfilled for a long time. I was angry at the service, and in fact, the mistake was mine that I was not looking for the angel who came out on the road in my dreams. I submitted a new request for adoption of a child, but now it’s for a boy, understanding God’s message.
During the Easter fasting, I worked on the road opposite the cave church “St. Katerina “. I dug a channel. The weather was rainy. I was completely wet, and sweaty, but something dragged me towards the monastery “St. Erasmus “. I came and prayed:
“My golden Lord, please give me a child before Easter”
That prayer I’ve repeated many times. I had a strong excitement, I felt that something was happening to me, I wasn’t the man that I came previously. The friends I worked with also came in. I didn’t recognize them. One of them said:
– Ljupcho, what’s up? What’s happening to you?
– I do not know, but I feel strange.
I came home. My wife wasn’t there. I asked my mother. She told me that they called my wife in Social services, that our turn has come to get a child. The newborn was just like the angel I saw in my dream. I wanted to take it immediately. The service wanted to make everything in order, to wait for the legal terms and they didn’t give me the child immediately.
– This kid must be with me before Easter! – I told them.
Indeed, before Easter, we took the child. We gave him a name Christian.
After five years of taking Christian, I took a branch for Badnik (Christmas Eve). It is customary for the Christmas Eve branch to stand until the next year, until the next Christmas Eve, when we burn the old branch. As I was putting the old branch I said:
– Lord, give me one daughter, for Christian to not be alone, let him have a sister.
Soon my wife became pregnant. We wonder how after 20 years of marriage this has happened. She went to the doctor. They confirmed her pregnancy. As ‘doubting Thomas’ I went with my wife to perform a pregnancy checking test. Christian was with us too. He said to me:
– Dad, I have a sister.
The test confirmed my wife’s four-month pregnancy.
With the prayers to St. Erasmus, the Lord also fulfilled my second desire. I also have a daughter, to whom the name Theodora was given by Christian.
I love my two kids to the moon and back. My darling is my boy Christian. Christian is an open-minded, bright and musical child. He goes to a music school, plays the violin, and he sings mostly spiritual songs.
The lucky parent Ljupco Kitanoski couldn’t elaborate enough about what he had experienced, what he went through, stressing out that St. Erasmus is a wonderworker, that with the name of the Lord, with poverty, he will struggle to bring the two children to a right and good path.

Once a woman said:
“Why are you fool to help the woman who is paid for it?”
He said:
– I don’t help anyone. I work here out of respect for Saint Erasmus. He gave me two golden angels.
